Once again, I have fallen behind on my blogs but I thought I would finish the year with one more. Next year will be different and I have lots to show everyone throughout the year as we have some exciting changes happening, so we are finishing off our blog room series.
Once again where has the time gone, we are a quarter of the way through 2022 and I have only just had some time to sit down and write a blog. I must change this.
I can’t believe I have left this blog for so long, it’s so amazing how busy I have been since the first lockdown. The industry is crazy at the moment, people are building their dream homes, building rentals, renovating their forever homes or putting in new kitchens for rentals. This blog is going to highlight a few of my favourite things about bedrooms and what I think you should look at when designing or styling your room.
I’m so excited for this Blog. Who doesn’t love a great bathroom! There is so much to talk about with a bathroom, such as style, size and all the different elements that go into a bathroom. Whether this is a main bathroom, guest bathroom, ensuite or powder room there is so much to think about.
Happy New Year, WOW welcome to 2021 and the end of January. I can’t believe where the time has gone. I know I had a crazy busy finish to the year and didn’t get around to my Blogs. So I have started up again while on holiday, getting fresh new ideas, and planning new projects.
If you have been reading my previous blogs you may start to see the flow I’m creating for the home. Moving from the kitchen to the living room feels natural, you entertain & cook for friends and family in the kitchen and gather in the living room afterwards to chat.
I’m so excited about this blog, kitchens are such a big part of homes. It’s “the heart of the home” as a lot of people describe it. But it really is, this is the place where families come together to cook, eat, celebrate, entertain and because the way homes are designed now days the kitchen, dining room and living room are all open plan which makes socialising in the home so much easier.
The Front Entrance is a great place to make a grand statement. It’s the first piece of your house that your visitors see and it gives them the best greeting to your home and what the inside will be like. It sets the style and tone for the interior. In saying that you can still have a front entrance that is smaller and welcoming to any family, friends or visitors.
Exterior cladding should be a major decision when designing your home. This is the first impression people see when they come to your house and this is what people see when they drive passed your house, so you want to make it a good impression. When it comes to the exterior you need to be thinking about the roof, cladding, window joinery, front door, soffits, lights, everything joins together to make the complete look so getting these elements right is key.
